Ground School

Galvin Flying currently provides remote, online ground school courses for Private and Instrument Airplane. Led by our professional ground instructors via live online meeting, our in-depth courses not only prepare you for the FAA written exams, but also provide the background knowledge you need to go forward with a one-on-one flight training program in both our flight training devices (FTDs) and aircraft, ultimately leading to the FAA practical tests that earn you your next certificate or rating.

All courses we offer meet both Part 61 and Part 141 requirements and include 54 hours of in-classroom instruction, presentation notes & exercises, Jeppesen syllabus, and ASA Test Prep Guide.  Courses run for six weeks, meeting every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Our ground school courses are $599. Galvin Preferred Services members pay only $499.
